Are your brakes giving indication that there is a problem?
Sometimes, your vehicle's brakes will alert you when there is a problem. Sounds like whistles and squeaks are indicators that braking service is needed. The most common causes of brake pedal pulsation and noise:

  • worn out brake pads

  • Rotors worn out or overheated

  • The pads can be stained with grease or brake fluid

  • The brakes may have crystallized

The vehicles are often equipped with a small piece of metal attached to the pads that is a indicator when the material of the pads is wearing out and the pads need to be replaced. This device emits a squeal noise when applying the brakes to indicate that it is time to check the brakes
